I’ve never had a great idea to apply the chemicals, no part of my body, and the idea of ??using them on my face to treat acne seemed dangerous – not to mention more than a bit ‘painful! Chemical peels, however, has been a popular treatment acne for many, many years. Often more effective than simple topical treatments, but probably less intense than the leather, laser or microdermabrasion, chemical peels can be used in the treatment of acne blemishes and acne scars. There are a few different types of shells, differentiation, and depth of penetration of chemicals.

Chemical peels use a variety of chemicals to remove the top layer of damaged skin marked, or protected. The idea is that with the removal of damaged skin, a new and healthy skin to grow in its place. Also, remove the top of the skin to remove dead skin cells clog pores, blackheads so to start the healing and prevention of new ones.

Several types of chemical peels and AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) peels are the mildest form of chemical peel, with minimal recovery time involved. Sometimes doctors even recommend a face wash or cream containing AHA to achieve a similar effect. AHA peels may be composed of glycolic acid, lactic or fruit acids, and the application usually lasts only 10 minutes to an hour. Since the process is so soft, repeated applications may be necessary at intervals of a week or more in between. After treatment, the skin generally reacts with temporal scales or flaking of dead skin cells and can become very dry and red like a sunburn. This problem usually goes away fairly quickly, and bandages are not necessary.

Chemical peel is made with TCA (trichloroacetic acid) are moderate form of chemical peel, which is most affected by the depth of the skin. This shell may take longer to implement, and leads to intense burning of the skin. Although this procedure can be performed relatively quickly during a visit to a dermatologist, sedation is sometimes used during treatment, in order to help the patient relax. Moreover, as the TCA peel is stronger than AHA peel, it is recommended that the sun is limited, and the skin is adequately protected. Some crusting may occur with this treatment, but it is purely superficial, and usually disappear within a few days.

The strongest form of chemical peel using phenol, usually in combination with croton oil. This treatment is used to remove deep wrinkles, severe sun damage, and even precancerous. The phenol peel is the deepest that is available both beneficial and harmful. The main positive aspect of a phenol peel is that improvements in skin is so clear, smooth, even tones, and unblemished skin can often be noticed within 7-10 days, sometimes lasting up to 20 years. The costs of these dramatic improvements, however, is not small. The procedure itself can be up to two hours in length. In addition, the recovery time for a phenol peel to take over a month and adverse events are reported to be much more common that the skin of the AHA or TCA Peel. These side effects include swelling and scab formation, but one of the most serious is a permanent skin pallor. Phenol peels mainly pale skin and enables it to tan.

This means that the effects of natural Peel look for people with fair skin that tans easily.

Clearly, chemical peels, like any other acne medication, not a procedure to be carried out without consulting a professional. Since the shells vary in depth of penetration, chemical peels are suitable for certain types of acne. Thus, while self-treatment kits can be purchased, it is recommended that patients go to a professional. Only professionals can ensure proper chemical control and minimize the risk of errors and irreversible side effects such as scars or pigmentation reaction. In most reports, chemical peels can sound like a useful tool for the treatment of acne, often with fantastic results. That said, I do not think I’ll do it soon!
